In December 2025, representatives of the Sino-Gulf Youth Network attended the UAE’s 54th Union Day celebration at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai. Director Gloria and Shanghai Lead Cindy joined Emirati students and guests at the event, which was also attended by H.E. Muhannad Al Naqbi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Shanghai.
The celebration brought people together in an atmosphere of national pride, unity, and friendship. More than a formal occasion, it offered a warm meeting point for young people connected with China and the Gulf to celebrate an important moment in the UAE’s national story.
The presence of the UAE Consul General and the participation of Emirati students gave the gathering wider significance, connecting a university celebration with the growing people-to-people relationship between China and the UAE.
