The weekend of May 25-26 witnessed a total count of several hundred visitors to the Interactive Exhibition and the Public Talk themed on 字圆其说 I Got One.
Invited by the Shanghai Pudong Library, a city-level public-facing library, Jing CHAI and Qian LIU collaboratively presented to a crowd of 100+ audience, grouped in 6, both native Chinese speakers and international students, for designed cross-cultural interactions and experience. The talk titled 跨文化视角下的汉字国际传播 received huge resonations and feedback from the audience despite the linguistic and cultural differences in their backgrounds, and provoked further thoughts and interactions between the participants.
