字圆其说 x GSE Harvard University
Invited Talk
For the third consecutive year, Jing Chai was invited to speak at the Harvard Graduate School of Education as part of the course Technology-Enhanced Language Learning and Teaching. Her talk spotlighted the I Got One · 字圆其说 project as a case study in how language learning can be transformed through visual storytelling and cross-cultural creativity, under the theme of Multiliteracies through Images, Instanarratives, and TikTok.
The presentation sparked vibrant engagement from the graduate students and faculty in attendance. Many were struck by how the project seamlessly blends learner autonomy, cultural narrative, and digital media into a compelling model for 21st-century multiliteracies. The talk led to an energetic Q&A session filled with thoughtful reflections, pedagogical inquiries, and enthusiastic exchanges.
Several attendees expressed interest in bringing the project into their own classrooms or research, and the session organically led to invitations for Jing Chai to contribute to the upcoming Harvard China Education Symposium in April, further testament to the growing resonance of I Got One within the global education community.
