On the left, there is a part of a house left, while inside/more to the right, the tsunami wave has gotten inside a house – very “dangerous”!

The bottom part looks like someone sitting down, hiding in a cave, the top part looks like someone with a knife on top of the cave, looking down to the hiding person.

On the top of the character 危 there is a radical knife, and on the bottom there is an character similar to 几 meaning oneself is under a knife as in DANGER.

The bottom of the character looks like a swirl which reminds me of a whirlpool. Since whirlpools are dangerous, I am reminded of this character.
