I remember the other character for father -爸爸- but without the radical that gives the pronunciation ‘ba’. So, just to top part still meaning FATHER.

You can remember it as the two diagonal lines on the top as the eyebrow and the cross diagonal lines under the eye is the collared shirt that the FATHER is wearing
